May 21, 2010
by: Paul Hughes
THIS PROMOTION HAS ENDED. THE WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL AND ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE TO SHIP OUT THE BOOKS BY THE END OF THE MONTH. IF YOU DID NOT WIN THIS TIME AROUND, PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE BOOK PROMOTIONS!
The recent recommended book list for May has generated quite a bit of interests and emails to us here at Online MBA. We want to thank all of the people who have sent warm thank you’s for the post, as well as those who were interested in getting more information about the books. We have decided to do one step better than give you an elaboration on these wonderful books — we’ll just give them to you, for free!
Most of the books that we’re giving away are signed, some even include words of wisdom from these great authors adding much more value to them. You’ll definitely want to leave these books on your coffee table so you can brag to your friends about these great pieces of work.
I want to thank the authors that have supported this promotion, and have graciously agreed to sign copies of their books for this giveaway. Without their support, I don’t think we would have had the motivation to go through with this. The following books are included in the giveaway, with the link to the authors’ blog so you can learn more about them and what they’re about.
| 1. | Linchpin by: Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com A look at what it takes to become indispensable in the workplace. Seth reiterates, “…it’s not about you need to be different and set yourself apart from the rest of the pack. But instead is, you need to do the hard work of thinking for yourself instead of being a cog.” — great words of wisdom. |

Thanks also for picking my entry.
Will you post a summary of the submissions around “Most important learning point from business”? It should make interesting reading.
