Sullivan University is dedicated to providing a wide variety of in-demand and current programs leading to successful careers for graduates. With programs designed specifically to meet the requirements of each student’s life and studying styles, and holding to the belief that anyone should be able to attend a quality college at an affordable price, Sullivan stands as an attractive option among its competitors in the market for online MBA programs. They bring advanced technology, hands-on learning, and real-world experience to a small size online classroom environment to diverse students across the nation.
Recognizing the need for a flexible schedule for working adults, Sullivan University has created an online MBA program that is year-round and optionally full-time. Additionally, the faculty and staff at Sullivan set aside every Friday for students to consult with instructors or go over curriculum or material. The curriculum and programs are constantly evaluated to ensure they stay current and relevant to the ever-changing business needs of today. In the end, Sullivan seeks to teach students how to think critically, utilize effective communication skills, establish a sense of teamwork, and instill an appreciation for lifelong learning, diversity within the culture, and professionalism in all areas of life.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges has accredited Sullivan University to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees, as did the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. The business programs at Sullivan, including the Master of Business Administration program, have received specialized accreditation by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
The online MBA program give students the opportunity for expanded career options and promotion, but it also provides a competitive edge for those currently in the business market. Students will be equipped with measureable skills in critical thinking, human resource management, decision making, research techniques, finance, and communication, with an emphasis on immediate real-world application of the most current theories and strategies.
Motivated students may be able to complete the 48 credit hours in 18 months if taking two classes per quarter. Because classes accept no more than 20 students at a time, each one receives more personal attention. Sullivan suggests that online students should have good time-management skills, be self-motivated, comfortable with computers, and have no difficulty asking questions. This is to ensure the maximum benefit from online learning.
After completing up to the final two quarters of their bachelor degree program at Sullivan University, or upon obtaining a bachelor’s from another regionally accredited institution, candidates can apply to Sullivan’s graduate school. They will be required to prove proficiency in verbal, written, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills. Applicants can demonstrate this through submission of GMAT or GRE scores, or by the graduate school admissions committee reviewing transcripts of previous undergraduate and any graduate courses, or an application of criteria established by the committee.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Including tuition and all applicable fees, Sullivan charges $545 per credit hour for the MBA program course work. At 48 credit hours total, the base cost for tuition and all other fees is $26,160.

In addition to Federal Pell Grants (which students can apply for regardless of their regional location), there are multiple grants available to Kentucky residents and options for loans. Other options recommended by Sullivan include company tuition reimbursement, rehabilitation programs, UPS Earn & Learn, Veterans benefits, and the Workforce Investment Board.
Sullivan University provides resources for students studying online.
