Franklin Pierce University is a small university nestled in the sleepy town of Rindge, New Hampshire, with satellite campuses scattered throughout New Hampshire. Accreditation

Franklin Pierce University’s academic programs have been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) since 1968. Franklin Pierce University was originally Franklin Pierce College. The NEASC granted the school the accreditation status it needed to be classified as a university in 2007.

Academics

Franklin Pierce University gives its MBA students the option to either complete their course work online or study at any of the Franklin Pierce campuses. Both online and offline MBA students complete a total of 40 credit hours. The classes they take differ slightly based on their chosen concentrations, but all Franklin Pierce University online MBA students take invaluable graduate business classes pertaining to economics, leadership, business ethics, cash flow management, operations management, and marketing.

Admission

Franklin Pierce University admits prospective students who are able to demonstrate the professional and academic readiness necessary to succeed in one of the most rigorous online MBA programs in New Hampshire. As prospective students apply to the MBA program, they are required to do the following:

  • Submit official college transcripts
  • Turn in two letters of recommendation
  • Send the admissions committee a copy of a current résumé
  • Write a personal narrative statement that explains interest in business leadership
  • Write an essay about a meaningful professional experience
  • Participate in a phone or in-person interview

Franklin Pierce University also requires that students have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.8 from a regionally accredited undergraduate institution to be admitted to their MBA program. Transcripts should be signed or sealed by university officials and should be sent to the graduate admissions department in a sealed envelope.

Tuition and Financial Aid

MBA students at Franklin Pierce University currently pay $590 per credit hour. Students are encouraged to submit both a FAFSA and an institutional financial aid application.
