The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has accredited Gardner Webb University to award their bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. In addition, Gardner-Webb’s business school has been awarded specialized accreditation for their business degree programs by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Gardner-Webb University has created their online MBA program to give students the education and preparation they need to gain an edge in the business. The purpose of the degree program is to transform the mindset behind how students think and work by promoting ongoing personal and professional development.

Admission to Gardner-Webb University requires four basic steps:
1. Submit an online application or download one from the University’s website along with a detailed resume of professional work experience
2. Submit undergraduate/graduate transcripts using the transcript request form provided by Gardner-Webb (must be official transcripts)
3. Submit acceptable GMAT scores
4. Submit three references following the confidential recommendation form — references can be a current or past professor, a current or past supervisor, and/or an academic business professional
Tuition and Financial Aid
Gardner-Webb University charges $445 a credit hour for the online MBA program. Given the program requires 36 credit hours for graduation, the total base-cost for the degree is $16,020. An additional $25 per course will be charged to cover the Online Learning Technology Fee.
To help cover the cost of tuition, a student should begin by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which is the required application for federally funded grants. Gardner-Webb University provides deferred payment plans which breaks up payments over a prolonged period of time to help spread out the cost of tuition. Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans are also available to students at low interest rates.
Gardner-Webb University’s website lists a variety of helpful tools and resources to guide students through their online degree programs. E-books, the online database, video tutorials, and the writing center provide all the assistance students will need for effective and efficient research for their assignments. Other resources include access to the Blackboard learning system (the online classroom) where students can turn in assignments, check class information, and interact with fellow classmates. Forms and admissions information are also listed on the site for the students’ benefit.
