In 1951, World War II veteran, Don Grantham, founded the Grantham Radio License School in Los Angeles. The school’s name was changed to Grantham School of Electronics and opened two other campuses in Washington, D.C., and Hollywood, in 1955. Thirteen years later, the school was named the Grantham College of Economics. The for-profit school was granted university status in 2002, the same year it launched its business school. The university now has seven campuses across the country.
Grantham University’s Mark Skousen School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).
The online MBA from the Mark Skousen School of Business can be achieved in 24 months and can be completed sooner if a student is able to transfer credits. The most credit hours a student can transfer is nine, which is 25% of the program. Students have eight weeks to complete each course. The program, like the university, is not semester based. The online MBA program is 36 credit hours.
