Introduction

Herzing University was founded in 1965 by Henry and Suzanne Herzing to train students to work with computers. Today, Herzing University offers associates, bachelors, and master’s degrees. There are currently 12 locations nationwide as well as an online campus. Students can attend school in, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Florida, two locations in Ohio, and four locations in Wisconsin. Herzing also expanded its degree programs to include business, electronics, healthcare, graphic design, and public safety.

Herzing’s faculty and administration make themselves as available as possible to their students. Understanding that students are busy, the university offers accelerated programs that will help students achieve their degrees faster. Students are also able to enjoy flexible class schedules along with the option of earning their degree online.

Accreditation

Academics

The Herzing University online Master of Business Administration aims to develop individuals who will be able to grow businesses and make effective management decisions. By earning an online MBA, students will learn to analyze business obstacles and develop appropriate solutions to those problems. Herzing’s online MBA program offers students the flexibility to pursue their advanced degree.

Herzing’s students are expected to attend class at least four times a week, though each student will be able to pick the time that it is convenient for them. Usually students receive their assignments at the beginning of the week, are able to answer class discussion questions throughout the week and turn in their assignments before the week concludes. Course curriculum is designed by professionals that are experienced and hold advanced degrees in their fields.

Herzing offers students the ability to accelerate their online MBA degree through its 33 credit hour option, which can be completed in as little as 12 months–assuming full time status of 12 credits per semester. Students may also opt to choose a 12 credit hour specialization in accounting, business management, healthcare management, human resources, marketing, project management, and technology management. Specializations will require additional course work once a student completes their core class schedule.
