Students can choose to view course materials and complete assignments on their own schedule and they participate in class discussions with professors and classmates through virtual chat rooms and message boards.

Started 15 years ago, Marist’s online MBA uses the Sakai online learning platform to deliver course materials and information to students. The program has two start times, but students can move through at their own pace once accepted. Typically, students finish the 30-credit hour program in two years. Courses are 15-weeks long.

Marist College has been regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 1964. The College of Management at Marist is intuitionally-accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), placing it among the world’s top business schools.

The Marist MBA degree program is designed to accommodate the academic needs of working professionals with undergraduate degrees in areas outside of business as well as graduates of business related programs. Along with a general MBA degree, Marist offers four specializations: international business, managerial finance, ethical leadership, and healthcare administration.

The Marist MBA degree program requires a minimum of 30 credits of graduate study. Depending on a student’s prior education in business, he or she may need up to 21 additional credits of foundation business courses, bringing the total credits required for the degree to 51 credits. All foundation course requirements must be met before taking any core or elective courses.

The admissions process is the same for students intending to pursue their MBA in the classroom, online, or a combination of both. The following materials are needed upon application:

  • A completed application (available online)
  • A $50 application fee
  • Responses to essay questions
