Introduction

Founded in 1815 as the Nichols Academy, this institution of higher education is one of the oldest in the country. The school offers many diverse majors, mostly in business and liberal arts. Students are required to obtain credits in both areas of study, making the Nichols curriculum a unique balance of applicable skill and cultural appreciation. Nichols promotes itself as an extremely career-oriented school, complete with the tagline “Your success is our business.”

The Nichols College Online MBA program also takes a career-focused approach. The curriculum focuses on real-world issues that can be immediately applied to the professional world. Four-year students of the institution are allowed to participate in the accelerated 4+1 program in which an undergraduate and graduate degree are earned in five years.

Accreditation

Nichols College is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, an agency that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
