Academics

Through the online MBA program at Ohio Dominican University, students will be able to achieve a comprehensive business education from anywhere in the world. The program will provide students with a curriculum that stresses ethical leadership and a strategic agility. The program will prepare students to serve in middle and senior level leadership roles within any organization.

Currently, the program operates of a 36 hour credit system. There are 12 courses that students will be expected to complete before graduation. Ten of the classes will prepare all students in the core foundations that are needed to excel in today’s business world. After completion of those 10 classes, students have the option of which two additional MBA classes they would like to take. Online MBA students can choose to pick a concentration. There are four options: leadership, public administration, finance, and accounting. There is also a graduate certificate in public administration available.

Admission

The requirements for applying to the Ohio Dominican University’s online MBA program include:

  • Completion of the graduate school application
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • $25 application fee
  • Official transcript from any other institutions
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 in last 60 undergraduate hours
  • Application essay
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Foundational knowledge in economics, accounting, finance, and statistics (conditional admission may be granted for those who do not meet requirement)

Tuition and Financial Aid

At Ohio Dominican, students can expect to have a base tuition of $19,440 for an online MBA based on a 36 hour program. There will be additional fees for university services or books. Students with fee waivers may use one fee waiver for one credit hour. Diocesan teachers will also receive a 25% tuition discount.
