Introduction

Established in 1963 as a public institution, Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) is the youngest among Michigan’s family of public colleges and universities. SVSU has five academic colleges, including its School of Business and Management. The business school attracts working professionals from all corners of the globe. Sitting on a 782-acre campus, SVSU has been named among the “Best Regional Colleges” by U.S. News & World Report. The school stays true to its motto, “Something More. Accreditation

Since 1970, Saginaw Valley State University has been accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission. This accrediting agency was established in 1895 and is one of six institutional accreditors in the United States. Academics

SVSU’s School of Business is among the 5 percent of business programs worldwide accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The school, which utilizes a trimester-based academic calendar, offers MBA concentrations in the following areas:
