Spring Arbor University has been educating the state of Michigan since the 1870s, when it was established as a small elementary and secondary school. Today, the liberal arts university serves over 4,000 students and offers over 60 undergraduate degrees at the associate’s and bachelor’s level and eight graduate programs. SAU’s online MBA program allows students to earn their degrees entirely online and is taught with a strong emphasis on Christian ethics.
Spring Arbor University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. This organization was established in 1896 and is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. Spring Arbor University’s online MBA program is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The SAU online MBA program is a cohort-based program with a curriculum that covers all the basic upper-management business skill requirements. Students must learn about and showcase knowledge in such subjects as accounting, finance, human resources, information systems, law and marketing. The 36-hour program, although completed entirely online, requires students to interact with their peers and teachers to encourage engagement and meaningful debate.
Applicants to this MBA program are not required to take the GMAT or GRE. However, the following is required for admittance:
- Application for graduate program
- Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended, showing completion of a bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 3.0
- At least two recommendations from professional or academic individuals
- Resume showing work experience
