The online MBA program at Texas A&M Central provides each student with an innovative, creative, and relevant education in business disciplines. For students that have not taken any business classes prior to acceptance into the program, there are an additional two classes to take. These classes will help each student understand the basics of business that the graduate program will expand upon. If the students have to take foundations of financial systems and foundations of management, then they will have fewer electives to take later in the program.
Once a student enters the online MBA degree program, they will focus on their core requirement classes. These classes will teach students about accounting and financial management, business strategy, research methods, marketing, and information systems. Students will then be able to choose between organizational development and change or managing operations and services to finish up their core requirements. Through their electives, students can decide to pursue a concentration in one of five areas. The concentration areas are economics and finance, management and leadership, computer information systems, human resource management, and accounting.
