The University of Dallas offers a 45-credit MBA program that can be taken online or on campus. The program consists of 12 different concentrations, and students have the option to combine course formats and create a blended online/on-campus degree program if they prefer. The MBA program is focused on providing both the hard and soft skills of organization management needed to succeed in business and is open to students of all academic backgrounds.


University of Dallas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or SACS. The SACS is a nonprofit accrediting organization comprised of academic institutions and organizations. SACS is dedicated to the betterment of higher education in the South via a thorough accreditation process.


University of Dallas College of Business offers online MBA programs in accounting, cross functional, global business, management, project management, supply chain management, corporate finance, cyber security, health services management, marketing management, and sports & entertainment management. Each concentration requires foundation and core courses coupled with elective courses of the students’ choice. All students must take 30 credit hours in core areas, such as effective leadership, managerial finance, accounting, value-based marketing, business informatics, and operations management. They will then take 12 credit hours to complete their concentrations and three elective credit hours.


For admission to the MBA program, students must provide the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in any graduate credit hours earned thus far.
  • Proof of good academic and financial standing with all previous colleges and universities.
  • TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.5 (for students applying on visas).
  • Business academic background (students without business course work experience can be accepted under provisional admission).
  • Resume or CV.
  • $50 application fee.

Students must also meet at least one measure of capabilities, which include a graduate degree, a graduate GPA of 3.2 or more in at least 12 hours, a GMAT score of 500 or more, or four years of professional experience. Students without these requirements can enter the program by completing prerequisites.

Tuition and Financial Aid

The total tuition cost for the online MBA program is $30,000. Students can apply for financial aid by completing a FASFA before the academic term for which they would like to apply. Many graduate students are awarded financial assistance in the form of Stafford loans, Pell grants, and need-based scholarships.
