Florida has been offering online MBA programs since 1999, starting with a two-year option (27 months), followed by starting a one-year option (16 months) the following year.
The University of Florida has been regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, The Commission on Colleges since 1913. UF’s Warrington College of Business Administration is also institutionally accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The online MBA program offered by the University of Florida strives to provide its students with a well-rounded education. Students will take such courses as Economics of Business Decisions, Financial Management, Organizational Behavior, International Finance, Marketing and Operations Management. Students will develop effective leadership, communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
The cohort-style program enrolls two groups of between 50-60 students each school years for the program. Semesters run for 16 weeks.
Applicants must submit an application, which includes a detailed employment history, academic history and essays. Students applying for the one-year program must have graduated from an undergraduate business program within seven years.
Prospective students also take the GMAT exams. The average student in the two-year program held eight years of professional work experience and averaged a 610 on the GMAT. In the one-year program, the average work experience was six years and students scored a 600 on average on the GMAT.

Tuition for the two-year online MBA base program is $59,696 for out of state residents. Florida residents would pay about $24,908 for the two-year program.
The University of Florida participates in a variety of student loan programs from federal and private sources that must be repaid.
