The online education option through UMUC allows students to finish their degree without having to put their careers and busy lives on hold. Students will be able to interact with classmates from around the world, study from any location with an Internet connection, navigate class discussions using tabbed browsing and use online features that make the Web learning environment feel more like a traditional classroom. Students who aren’t sure about going to school entirely online have the option of taking hybrid courses, which allow for online and traditional classroom learning.
Students will need to fill out the application online and pay a nonrefundable application fee of $50. Applicants will also need to submit their official transcripts as proof of a completed bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university. For most graduate programs at UMUC, you are not required to submit GRE or GMAT scores. Students who submit a GMAT score of at least 600 can get certain prerequisite courses waived.

This means that the school is not particularly selective in its admissions process, provided the student submits all necessary documents. Students who need help during the application process can speak with a new-student adviser. By making sure you have the appropriate documentation and educational background and contacting an adviser, you will have a good chance of being accepted into the program.
