The University of Michigan-Dearborn has been offering its students a quality education since 1959. UM-Dearborn’s College of Business is one of only 600 schools worldwide to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools if Business (AACSB).


The University of Michigan-Dearborn has been accredited by the North Central Association of College and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission, since 1970. This accrediting agency was founded in 1895 as one of the six regional accrediting institutions in the U.S.

Student Life

Students pursuing online degrees at UM-Dearborn have the flexibility of creating their own schedules so they can take classes from home at times that are most convenient for them. This allows class work to be scheduled around their personal and professional lives and for work to proceed at students’ own pace. In addition, students at UM-Dearborn have the option to earn their degree while taking courses online and on campus or entirely on the Web.


Students interested in pursuing the online MBA program at UM-Dearborn need to fill out and submit an application before the deadline dates (Aug. 1 for the fall term, Dec. 1 for winter and April 1 for summer). The university has a rolling admissions process and applications will be accepted after the deadline dates if spaces are still available.

Tuition and Financial Aid

The tuition for the online MBA program at UM-Dearborn is $1,033 per credit hour for in-state students and $1,158 for nonresidents. Financial aid is available to students who qualify after filling out a FAFSA. Grants, scholarships and tuition reimbursement programs may also be pursued.
