Academics

The online MBA program offered by UNT is relatively new (it launched in 2007) and offers modern courses delivered in engaging ways. The school offers the following MBA emphases:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA): Concentration in Marketing
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA): Concentration in Health Services Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA): Concentration in Strategic Management

Courses include Accounting Principles; Organizational Behavior and Analysis; Legal, Regulations and Ethical Environments of Business; and Administrative Strategy.

Student Life

With an online education from UNT, students have the freedom to earn their degree on their own schedule. They can take their classes and complete their course work from home at whatever time is most convenient for them, rather than driving to a campus at strict hours of the day.

Admission

Students will need to complete the online application before the program deadline (July 15 for U.S. students and March 15 for international ones). Out of approximately 660 part-time students who apply each year, about 210 are accepted.

Tuition and Financial Aid

An online MBA program from UNT costs approximately $924 per credit hour for out-of-state students and $573 per credit for residents, according to the school website. Financial aid is available to all students attending UNT. Students can submit a FAFSA application for federal aid, and some students can look into employer or military reimbursement programs.
