Introduction

The University of Saint Francis is a private, Catholic university located in Fort Wayne, Ind., and currently has approximately 2,300 students. The school offers degree plans from the liberal arts to the health sciences. The school was first founded in 1890 in Lafayette, Ind., and didn’t move to Fort Wayne until 1944.

Accreditation

The Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The university is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Academics

The online MBA program at the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership are taken in eight-week terms and an eight-week summer term is offered. The program, which is 33 credit hours long, can be completed in 12 months or, if a student takes one class per term, they can finish in three to four years. Students can take up to two courses per term. The program is split into three semesters: spring, summer, and fall. The University of Saint Francis institutes Franciscan values and ethics into all its classes in the MBA program.

Admission

The following are the guidelines for applying for the online MBA program:

  • Personal statement
  • 2.75 GPA
  • GMAT required only for students with a GPA less than 2.75 and less than five years of work experience
  • Resumes are required for students with less than a 2.75 GPA
  • Transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended

There are additional requirements for international students including the minimum TOEFL score being 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test or 79-80 on the Internet-based test and the minimum IELTS score being 6.5.
