Introduction

The University of Tennessee-Martin is a public four-year university and one of five campuses in the University of Tennessee System. The university, which was founded in 1900, ¬†offers bachelor’s and master’s programs in a variety of areas, including nursing, education and business administration. Classes are offered both on the physical campus and through UT Online. Enrollment at UT Online grew 29.7 percent between 2009 and 2010, according to the school’s website. UT Martin is listed as a top-tier university among Southern, master’s level institutions by U.S. News & World Report.

Academics

The University of Tennessee-Martin offers one MBA program completely online. The program is an MBA for Banking and Financial Services Professionals. The AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited online program is tailored for individuals who work in the financial services industry, including branch managers, loan officers, human resource specialists, accountants, brokers and analysts.

The online MBA program builds up a student’s skills in communication, business ethics, teamwork, strategic planning and problem solving. Admission

Tuition and Financial Aid

Students who enroll in the UT Martin’s online MBA program enjoy affordable tuition. Students will need to contact the school for information on the entire cost of tuition, but according to the bursar’s office, in-state graduate students pay $481 per credit hour and nonresident graduate students pay $525 at UT Online. Financial aid is available for students who qualify after filling out a FAFSA.
