Introduction

Wayne State is a public research university in Detroit. This urban university, the third largest in Michigan, is highly diverse with a student body representing all 50 states and more than 70 countries. Wayne State also comprises six satellite centers throughout southeast Michigan. The magazine Campus Technology recognized Wayne State twice for innovation and best IT practices. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and professional degrees, as well as post-baccalaureate and post-master’s certificates. Admission

Individuals applying for a spot in Wayne State’s online MBA program will need to have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and will need to have maintained a cumulative undergraduate GPA higher than 2.5. Admissions staff will review your GMAT scores, GPA, professional work experience and potential leadership qualities when making admissions decisions. Application deadlines are July 1 for the fall semester, Nov. 1 for winter and March 15 for spring/summer.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition at Wayne State University for graduate business students is $618 per credit hour for state residents and $1,262 per credit hour for nonresidents. About 70 percent of MBA students receive tuition reimbursement from their employers. Senior citizens are eligible for reduced tuition. Financial aid is available for those who qualify after filling out a FAFSA.
