Founded in 1891, Drexel University features three campuses in Philadelphia, including a main 74-acre campus close to downtown. In 1914, the school offered its first bachelor’s degree program, later adding master’s programs in 1927 and doctorates in 1965. Known for its academic technologies and experiential learning programs, Drexel introduced one of the first co-op education programs in the country. The school now offers more than 200 programs, including over 120 at the graduate level, many of which incorporate experiential learning.

In addition to many different programs, Drexel students can access more than 350 student clubs and organizations, along with over 30 Greek-letter fraternities and sororities. These groups provide members with student engagement opportunities and extracurricular experiences. For aspiring business professionals, Drexel offers clubs related to specific disciplines and careers, enabling students to interact with like-minded peers who share similar career goals.
Online MBA applicants need a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA. In addition to standardized test scores, each candidate must also submit two professional letters of recommendation, a resume, and a personal statement.
Tuition rates vary depending on the program pathway and schedule, such as accelerated, part time, or full time. In addition to tuition rates, learners pay a general fee. Most Drexel students receive financial aid covering most of their tuition costs. Over 67% of MBA students received grants covering 21% of their tuition costs.
